New version of Chrome for Android pops in Google Play

Google just announced that its Chrome for Android web browser has received an update with some helpful changes for eligible Android devices.

The mobile version of Google Chrome brings many of the desktop Chrome features to your smartphone, offering an interface tailored to mobile devices, that is fast, clean, and easy to use. Here is what has been changed.

What's in this version:

Chrome for Android M18.1
This version update includes a number of security and stability improvements.

Additional highlights
-Location preference now integrated to system level Google apps location setting.
-Youtube videos controls now work in full screen mode; videos continue playing after a screen lock/unlock
-Fixes to make third-party IMEs work better with Chrome
