The Optimus L9 (aka P760) Android Smartphone introduced by LG in the last IFA 2012 is about to launch in Spain (and hopefully to other countries too) for 379 EUR. The price has been revealed by "The Phone House" retailer in its latest online catalog ("The Phone House" is like "Carphone Warehouse" in Spain).
Please note this price (379 EUR) is for an unlocked / SIM free handset (without contract) and VAT (tax) included (in Spain VAT is 21%), so price might vary slightly in your home country. We think this price is ok but we consider the now discounted LG Optimus 4X HD (sells for 390 EUR) a much better buy.
We've just contacted a sales representative from "The Phone House" and we were told stock is expected in about one to two weeks and that it will be available in both black and white finish.
As a quick reminder, these are the main specifications of the new LG Optimus L9:
- OS: Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
- Chipset: 1GHz Dual-Core
- Main Display: 4.7-inch IPS Display
- Memory: 1GB DDR2 (RAM) / 4GB e-MMC
- Camera: 5MP rear / VGA front
- Battery: 2,150mAh SiO+
- Size: 131.9 x 68.2 x 9.1mm / 125g
- Others: DLNA, QMemo™, QTranslator function, My Style Keyboard function
What do you think about this price? Is it too steep for an LG dual core? Please have your say in the comments section below.
